PawSQL Cloud provides a managed PawSQL service. No server deployment is required: users sign in through a supported browser, create or select a workspace, and use the capabilities included in their account and role.

Goal

Access PawSQL Cloud in a browser, verify your organization, and prepare the account for its first task.

Prerequisites

  • The official PawSQL Cloud URL;
  • a supported modern browser;
  • network access to the service;
  • a valid account;
  • organization or project membership for team use.
Enter credentials only on an official PawSQL endpoint or a URL approved by your organization.

Sign in

1

Open the service

Verify the domain and HTTPS certificate before entering credentials.
2

Authenticate

Use the login method presented by the service. Follow your organization’s identity policy if SSO is enabled.
3

Confirm scope

Check the active organization, project, and account after sign-in.
4

Review available features

Confirm that Workspaces and SQL Optimization are available. Visibility depends on account type, role, and entitlement.

First-session tasks

  1. Confirm your account and organization.
  2. Review usage or quota information where available.
  3. Create or select a non-production workspace.
  4. Run a sanitized read-only query.
  5. Create separate credentials only if an IDE, MCP client, or API integration is required.

Client access

Browser sessions and client authentication are typically independent.

Security practices

  • Remove credentials and unnecessary business data from submitted SQL.
  • Do not persist login sessions on shared devices.
  • Revoke unused tokens.
  • Confirm organizational policy before connecting Cloud to a database.
  • Treat SQL text, schema metadata, and execution plans according to their data classification.

Troubleshooting

The sign-in page does not open

Check the URL, DNS, proxy, network policy, and TLS certificate.

The expected project is missing

Verify the account used to sign in and ask an organization administrator to review membership.

A feature is not visible

Check role permissions, account entitlement, and current usage limits.

An IDE cannot reuse the browser session

Configure the client-specific credential described in Authentication.

Verification

Sign in and confirm the active organization, project, and account, and that Workspaces and SQL Optimization are available.
